I’m making a software for making 2nd RTS isometric video games in Godot, the mission has two elements one stage making / map making/ editor and the sport itself. Nevertheless it has a one thousand limitation of GameObjects(or Nodes, as they’re known as in Godot) so I need to swap to a different engine or framework like Unity or Love2D that helps ECS method, that can assist 1000’s of sport Models.
I’m for Unity DOTS, however I’ve heard Love2D can do ECS too and is extra 2D oriented and do not need to use pure C++ as that is too low stage for me.
What do you suggest for this mission?
