My oldest, Michael, is in middle school and when he came home  he told me that he hadn’t eaten anything all day. It seems his lunch account had gone down to zero from $30 in two weeks time. The lunch ladies are supposed to go ahead and just charge the kids giving them a negative balance and let them know that they need to put more money in their account. This bimbo tells him “You aint got know money you can’t have any food”. I’ve paid thousands of dollars in the last 8 years on school lunches. Their system sucks. There is no way to find out how much money is in the account unless you go to the manager of the cafeteria and get her to check it on her computer which is just not feasible. The lunch is a flat $1.65 but they have extras so you can’t figure out a set amount.

So he comes home cranky and feeling sick. Tells me he had to sit and watch everyone else eat. I was pissed. That’s a long time for a kid to go with no food. He doesn’t get home until three and he refuses to eat breakfast. I couldn’t do anything because the main office for Child and Nutrition Services was closed for the day so I just stewed in my anger and my mind went wild.

I start daydreaming about sweet revenge. Man, anything you want you can find it online. Want revenge? Try poopsenders.com- send some elephant doo-doo to someone who annoyed you. Did an ex piss you off, send him (of course it HAS to be a him) some crabs from crabrevenge.com.  I shouldn’t be laughing – that would really be an awful thing to do -  but can you imagine?!  Hey, a girl can dream can’t she?
