Yesterday evening I ran up to the grocery store to grab a few things for my sons sleepover.  It was so nasty out.  Cold and rainy, just YUCK!  But, being the wonderful mom that I am I trudged forth into the bleak evening to feed my children’s  inner piggyness.  I keep forgetting it’s almost Christmas and the traffic is horrible.  It takes 15 minutes to drive a mile and once you get to where you’re going you get to drive around for another 15 minutes trying to find a parking spot.  I’m not a very patient driver.  From the minute I turn the key in the ignition, I’m cursing like a sailor – at everyone – everyone drives like a bunch of freakin idiots (except me, of course).  I finally snag a parking spot.   I get soaked running inside because my kids used my umbrella to beat each other up with the last time they were left alone in the car.  I grab what I need, stand in a really long line, get soaked some more running back out to the car – finally, I can get out of this cluster – f—!

This is where it all went wrong.  The parking lot is dark, rainy and overcrowded – some dumbass pulls out from another aisle, comes withing an inch of hitting me and cuts me off, fine, maybe he didn’t see me – I let it go – Then, the dumbass stops his car, in the middle of the parking lot driveway and starts to let someone out – that’s it – I Beep my horn, the jerk doesn’t move.  I swing around into the oncoming lane which was empty so I could go around this buttwipe and I’m really irritated now – I lay on my horn.  I’m driving away, talking to myself about what an idiot some people are.  I drive about half a mile and pull into Starbucks.  I get out of my car and see the moron driving down the road towards me.  I start walking towards Starbucks, the idiot starts screaming at the top of his lungs – I get to the door and the guy had driven up into the parking lot next to the door, still screaming at the top of his lungs – now I’m getting a little scared.  I go inside and get in line, waiting for the jerk to run in and start shooting me or something.  I know the guys at this Starbucks since I’m there every day, so I start telling them what was going on – we turn and look and the idiot is parked right outside the door.  He sits there for a few minutes and then leaves.  One of the guys that works at Starbucks walked me out to my car.  I was so scared by now I got on the phone with my hubby (an angry Arab) and he meets me when I pull up outside the house.  I don’t see the car again.  My hubby doesn’t get to kick his butt.  But, I’m now left with a sense of fear – people are scary.  This  guy was a nutcase – He was being an obnoxious driver and I beeped my horn at him a couple times  – not enough to be chased down and screamed at.  What an asshole!  For one second I thought, I’m never going to honk at someone again.  But only for a second – I don’t want to be afraid to leave the house and I don’t want to have to tip toe around all the psychos out there.  This guy really sucks.

WOO HOO!!! Republicans should be SOOO proud of themselves, they have everything figured out.  If we are “Real” Americans and listen to all of their warning regarding everything from health care to Islamic terrorists the US will be a much safer place to be.  To bad old Bushy isn’t still in office, we really had it made back then – I was such a proud American

Somebody PLEASE tell me what the hell is going on with Republicans these days.   Are these people really oblivious to the idiocy spewing from the mouths of the Republican politicians and media or (more likely) are they really painfully aware of how moronic they sound but are way to embarrassed to admit it.   After the shooting at Fort Hood by a Muslim I came across so many disturbing posts from right wingers out there that I actually started to worry and wonder how many of them are there?  I honestly believe that the acts of a lone deranged gunman should not give permission for a descent into anti-Muslim hysteria.  Can you imagine what it would be like If we all started following their flawed logic?

Their way of thinking – all muslims are terrorist and shouldn’t be allowed in the military and are trying to take over the world, blah, blah, blah – I had no idea how much hate there was towards Muslims until I googled “anti-muslim” and came across a whole slew of hate filled ranting.  What a bunch of f—ing hypocrites – they contradict themselves at every turn talking about every horrible thing that a Muslim does and is while at the same time being a horrible, hating, threatening human.  Here are a couple of quotes as an example:

These are regrettable incidents (collateral damage) that warrant a sentence or two in a news article. Nothing more. My point in all of this  mumbling is to say  that just because one person does something it doesn’t mean that everyone in that race, religion, sex is destined to do the same.   Why would anyone want to hate all Muslims because a few idiots act irrationally.   There’s crazy psychotic nutcases in every religion, of every race – I’ll tell you who I’m scared of – The Republican party – anyone who tries to bring a whole nation together for the sole purposes of hating one group of people under the guise of public safety, is sick and terrifying, my kids are Muslim and I’d like to personally knock out every single dumb ass, unintelligent, dim-witted, backwoods, red-neck republican who blabbers on and on and on and on and on . . . . . . .
