My last post was about my son being robbed and assaulted on his way home from school. Since that post the kid who assaulted him has plead guilty to felony robbery and will be sentenced next week. In the mean time he was placed in an alternative school but is still out running around doing [...]
This could be a great idea and I hope it really helps protect the women in some of these countries were rape is so prevalent. Hopefully, just the thought of a woman having one of these condoms in there private parts will be enough to lower the the rape count in the extreme. I think they should dip the tips of the sharp attachments in some kind of acid so rapists dicks fall off, even if they get it surgically removed. They should start selling T-Shirts saying “This Va jay jay protected by Rape-Axe”. Of course there are lots of critics siting the danger to women when a man is actually caught in one of these things and the false sense of security this may give. But, when you realize what women already are doing to prevent rape this new condom seem like it may be a little safer.
Dr. Sonnet Ehlers has invented Rape-axe, a female device with jagged hooks that latch onto a man’s penis during penetration.
The doctor is distributing 30,000 of these condoms in South Africa during this year’s World Cup.
“It hurts,” Ehlers told CNN. “He cannot pee and walk when it’s on. If he tries to remove it, it will clasp even tighter.”
South Africa has one of the highest rape rates in the world, according to Human Rights Watch. It is also believed that 16 percent of the population is living with HIV.
Rape-axe is inserted like a tampon and when embedded to a man the device can only be removed by a doctor.
Some have accused Ehler of creating nothing more than a new-age chastity belt.

Thanks for leaving the kind words on my post this week. I really appreciate it.

Sadly, I can see couple of drawbacks. First that it could invite retaliation with violence from the man, and second that it could be used by a woman looking for some warped revenge.

Oh god…I winced when I read that.
I see many, many drawbacks to this, two of the larger ones Sheila has already posted. While it’s a good idea in theory, the chances of angering an already violent person mean the device is a risk for women to use. Sure, they won’t get raped. They’ll just be beaten to death instead.

I find it horrifying that women need to do this to defend themselves. Hopefully, it is so debilitating that rapists would not be able to get violent after this. Many of the international rape stories are just awful.

Seriously, Rape should be met with just punishment, and rarely is.
I can see both the pro’s and con’s for this device.
It doe’s bring a whole new meaning to ‘CONCEAL AND CARRY’!

I can see the benefits and the dangerous drawbacks of this product. But either way, I think I still might want a t-shirt that say “This Va jay jay protected by Rape-Axe.”
I think this is a good idea and an alternative to the current method (the razor blades in sponges).
If the man is going to be violent, he will be. Many rape victims are already victims of physical abuse from their rapist so I doubt that would change much.
Also, if the women are ALREADY putting the razor blades in sponges, then I don’t see that this will change the way a woman looking for “warped revenge” will act. If she was looking for revenge, she may already be one of the many people using the razor blade method.

here’s the problem. first you have to convince the guy to put it on his dick, oh wait! so correct me if i’m wrong, this is the venus fly trap version, not the trojan horse… men are from mars, women are from venus, battles of the sexes — so what have you got for anal penetration?

There are indeed drawbacks but maybe with enough publicity men might think all women have been fitted with these and might just stop doing it.
A girl can dream.

cool blog u have here, interesting articles, we should link up!
So sad that women are going to such extremes. The only thing I would worry about is retaliation by the man after having his privates deservedly “snagged”.
