More Exciting Than Having Kids? Dropping Them Off On The First Day of the School Year

In two weeks my vacation begins. Kids go back to school on Sept 7th. Hopefully I will then slowly recuperate from this idiocy disease which has stolen my mind and ability to function (of course I’m gonna blame the kids otherwise I’d have to actually admit that it was me and isn’t that the whole [...]

Looking For Work? Huge Employment Opportunity – Hiring 40,000

Posted on07 Mar 2010

I hear there is a huge opportunity for gainful employment in South Africa during the 2010 World Cup.  World Cup organizers state that up to 40,000 prostitutes will be recruited for this year’s event.  40,000 Prostitutes??!!!  I didn’t know that was part of the event.  If you do consider this employment make sure your health insurance is up to date because in South Africa at least 16% of the population is believed to be living with HIV.  Also if you live in South Africa, lock up your kids – officials are worried that local children will be recruited into the prostitution business partly due to the fact that World Cup takes place during a four week national school holiday.  (I’ve got an idea -  If you are that concerned – why don’t you keep the kids in school this year?(DUH)).

Davis Bayever, South Africa’s deputy chair of the country’s Central Drug Authority says “Money talks, and if you’re a sex worker then there is going to be money in South Africa in 2010.”

  2. This must be the reason for the emergency shipment of condoms headed to Olympic athletes last month in Vancouver… Obviously Olympics and other Big Sports games boost the economy in many ways to the host cities.

Ann – It’s so sweet of you to think of others.

Rob – It’s wonderful that sports do so much to stimulate the economy all over the world.

  4. It’s kinda like DC when they are in session.

  5. I was excited for a minute there. I need a job, but, on second thought, I’m good. Broke is fine with me.

  6. Well my job blows too, but I don’t have to worry about aids where I’m at. Thanks anyway.

  7. A Good business for CONDOM industry. Anyhow, thanks for this awareness post on AIDS!!!
