Sending Your Kids to the Lions Den

My last post was about my son being robbed and assaulted on his way home from school.  Since that post the kid who assaulted him has plead guilty to felony robbery and will be sentenced next week.  In the mean time he was placed in an alternative school but is still out running around doing [...]

Need Attention? Set Your Kids On Fire!

Posted on29 Jan 2010

When my kids get hurt, I panic and take care of them.  If they are in danger I do everything I can to help them.  I CANNOT believe that parents would intentionally put their kids in danger.  I don’t care that they are in the stunt business, stunts go wrong – I could never put my kids in that kind of danger.  Not only do these guys let their kids participate in these crazy stunts, now their parents are trying to get them on a reality show.  Do they not see what happens to families who have been on reality shows?  They say they want to being their family closer.  How naive.  If you need attention that’s fine but please LEAVE YOUR KIDS OUT OF IT!!!!!!!

Oh Dear God! This is insane. These people should have their kids taken away from them. It’s one thing to put your own life in danger if you need the kicks, but your kids? Nope, sorry.

This is crazy! It’s one thing for the adults to do such dangerous things, but to endanger kids? It boggles the mind!

How hard is to set your on fire and run around in a circle? I think David Letterman has the right idea, give everyone who wants a show, a show. It doesn’t matter that this kind of madness ruins people lives, at least they’ll have the videos to look back on.

I have no problem with what they are doing. The real issue is that other idiots might copy them. Turns out the father is a stuntman, making them a family of stunt people. Is this any different than a family of tightrope walkers or trapeze artists teaching their craft to their kids?

As long as we, the audience, keep watching these shows, and the gossip shows and more and more the news we are encouraging this kind of behavior. It reminds me of the movie Idoicracy.

That is insane! Those kids should be given to somebody who can look out for there well being.

You were one of my top entrecard droppers this month. I will be posting a link back to you tomorrow, thanks!
