Searching for A House

We’ve been looking for a larger house for a while now so while I was walking to the park with my daughter today I was really excited to see a beautiful old house for sale. It’s only a couple blocks from our place now, well made (over 100 years old) GORGEOUS!! So, when we are [...]

Freedom At Last!!!!

Posted on27 Jun 2009

Well, at least for 8 hours a day.  I am sooooo damn excited!  I recieved a letter from the boys school that my daughter Laila has been accepted into their preschool program.  YEA!  After twelve years of constant little critter companionship I will be allowed to experience the joy of using the bathroom alone, showering in peace (and you can just guess what my husband thinks we’ll be doing).  I can’t remember the last time I was  looking forward to something quite as much as I’m looking foward to this – probably when I was pregnant, and had nothing but time alone.  So, should I feel selfish about wanting to get rid of all my kids?  I love my sweet, wonderful, amazing children to death it’s just that sometimes, they are a  huge pain in the buttocks and I swear if I have to take another shower and listen to my daughter giggle because she saw my boobies I’m gonna scream!  I need some space and I need it bad!

Laila is almost as excited as I am.

My son has preschool for two hours a day and I live for those two hours. I still have our baby at home with me. But since he’s not quite mobile, I can get a ton of things done in that amount of time.
