Flashback to my childhood. Now I know why I hated school from the fourth grade on. I don’t get why there are teachers who don’t like kids. Did they get through four years of college before they realized and then said screw it, I’ll be a teacher anyway? I’m glad you recognize what’s going on with your kids, as most parents ask their kids, “So your teacher is lying? Yeah, right.”

I totally feel for you. I also have 2 boys, and for some reason I think boys are targets of teachers like this more than girls. I was taught by mean nuns who openly admitted that they didn’t like kids, but I thought that with all we know about child development that those days were gone. Obviously they’re not, and it’s a shame.
